I made it back safely from Arizona just now and I am pleased to report that Saturday night has just surpassed my last (and only) long-term relationship as the greatest thing to ever happen in my life.

Although it is all going to be overshadowed by the realization that I am a complete piece of shit alcoholic.

She rubbed his adorable stubbly little face. It was endearing and mortifying at once. Also, I'll probably write another review of the show and then post it in one of the forums at the top so it goes on the front page because I'm insecure and desperate for attention.

Everyone in my dorm totally wanted to suck my dick after I told them about the fabulous adventure. TJ got a vague outline of the night over AIM. Details will follow when/if I muster up the motivation to write something.

To make a super long story short: They were giving autographs after the show and we got everyone's, and that was that and we were off to leave...

So, I had signed a card that said "You're 'funny'" to Patton and then signed my full name and put it in his pocket and we were going to leave when he started yelling out my name and I went back and asked him what he wanted and he said, "You're not Julie Self" and he said I was a liar and he was completely dissappointed that I'm fat, brunette with glasses. But then he invited us to hang out with all of them at a bar. Then some Italian restaurant.
Patton was in the backseat of Capt's car for one trip, and he was being hilarious ('cause he's a "comedian").

Dumb story about face grab: one point I went and asked David about 'Steve, ...Kind of', the greatest character ever, and he didn't know what I was talking about so I grabbed his face and said something retarded to him. I suck. Then, apparently, I drank too much. Luckily (unless Capt's just sparing my ego) most everyone had already left.


Every one of them was super nice.

I will sincerely give a review of the show/adventure at a later time, but I am fucking beat right now. Here is a picture of me, David and Nick (post-No Farting but pre-face grab).

All of them did a mix of new/old material.

He told a story about how he was going to get a really nice tattoo of Jon Benjamin's newborn baby's face onto his ass, and then have the baby's birthdate under the tattoo, but also a deathdate... but he didn't.

And I was so pleasantly surprised when he started talking about patriotic songs, because I knew he was going to sing his version of Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American" along with him talking to God. He did that when I saw him last year and I got super sad when it wasn't on the CD.

I think the highlight of the show was Patton being so sloppy drunk and talking with that heckler.

And I probably laughed the hardest at Dave Anthony, 'cause he everything he said was new to me.

And Nick Swardson was terrific. I had never heard the shit about the bomb.

Dave Anthony was riffing on this guy in a Jesus T-Shirt (who, it turned out, wore that shirt to get attention from the comics and was a generally loud and annoying douchebag) and he was like "Did you ever see the Passion of the Christ? It was just Jesus getting jumped in for like two hours. I was like 'Come on, just let him in the fucking gang already.'"

The heckler kept coming at him with even more stupid shit, and Pat shut him down again and again and again, for like 10 minutes, just brutally laying into this guy. Eventually, the heckler shouts out "you win!" And Patton decides to be the bigger man (literally! PHBBBT!) and make up with him, and actually says he admires his balls. He gets the audience to give a round of applause for him too, which I thought was really awesome.
