I have listened to MOST of the conversations on the "commentary" and have noticed something. Does Brian seem like the casts whipping boy? He doesnt exactly fit in the typical "actors" cliche. Anyone know the story behind this guy?

Do you have the Mr. Show book? They have a bio of him in there.

I just took a quick look. He says that SCTV is his favorite sketch show and he didn't like Monty Python (what?) as a kid. Wait, he didn't like it because adults thought is was funny and he was rebellious, not because he thought it sucked. Ok.

He started out writing for an MTV show called "Trashed" then later for "The Jon Stewart Show".

Bob and Dave say he's a "bitter fuck" with a "bad attitude" and that he wrote a lot of the "darker stuff" on Mr. Show.

He listens to "loud speed metal" while writing.

He's known to hang around at the San Diego comic con.

i think it would be pretty interesting to see the credits on each skit.

Even though he's funny most of the time, Paul F Tomkins in the commentary is such a bitch. Every thing out of his mouth is a pre-conceived one liner that always gets a slight breeze of awkward silence.

He was funny on the Bill maher show. What happened? Where did he go?

Not only did they get rid of Tompkins bit, but they seem to have cut the stand up comedy at the end of the show. Bill had Sarah Silverman and Doug Benson during the first season, I thought it was going to be the best part of the show. What happened?
