I pre-ordered it from Amazon, but I still don't have my copy. Slow shipping, I guess.
What are the extras on the DVD?

My roommate works at Blockbuster, so we were able to watch the movie last week. It's pretty damn cool. I love the Food-erator! Terry's inventions are hilarious!
And the deleted scenes are pretty funny (most of them).

dont throw away those bootlegs, they are different cuts of the movie, the one i have has more scenes, some are in the deleted, and some are not anywhere else.. that is all..

Hi I'm Josh Chambers from the terribly named band, sloppy meateaters. Now that we're friends........
I rented Run Ronnie Run last night with a bunch of friends. We were oh so excited. We heard how Bob and David didn't stand by the film and well, honestly I see why. Half the bits were 100% more funny on the show, the watered down, marginally funny "reissues" still were funnier than any David Spade movie (excluding Joe dirt of course)
The biggest disappointed was the musical, where someone OTHER than David sang the beautiful "Ya'll are brutalizing me" I couldn't believe it. I tried so hard to shed a tear, sadly nothing but a FART was shed.
I would love to see the Bob and David cut, maybe in 20 years when we find out who killed JFK, and the "real" reason behind the War on Iraq (aka bush #1 orgy with Saddam that went terribly terribly wrong), we'll get the "real" version of Run Ronnie Run.
But seriously, it's a movie put out by New Line, so it was bound to suck in some ways.
I will end by saying, bob and david are my kinda muthafuckas.

I wanted to reply to two people, but I couldn't figure out who to quote, so I quote no one!
1. You are so right! The worst part of Run Ronnie Run is that David doesn't sing the Ronnie Dobbs song. Who thought that would be a good idea? When I first saw the movie and Mandy Patinkin (is that his name?) sung the song instead of Dave, I was like, nooooo...
2. The bootleg I got off ebay a long time ago really sucks for picture and sound quality. Damn, I wonder how much those guys on Ebay make off poor Bob. Doesn't he have like 10 pilots that never got made and this movie? I bought one of the pilot bootlegs on ebay too, but the quality sucked too.
Maybe Amazon will send my copy, which I preorderd weeks ago, before Christmas.

Mandy Patinkin is a Tony award winning broadway star among other things. See the joke?
Oh yeah, and he was in The Princess Bride.

I see the joke, it's just not as funny as say, David Cross singing "ya'll are brutalizing me" in that sexy jewish voice of his

i havent seen the movie in a while, but i remember Jay played a news broadcaster that cracked me the fuck up
"the inmate merrily skipped his way down death row...what did i just say that?"

the movie was a big dissapointment. it wasnt even bob and davids idea to make it into a feature length film.
it would have been just as funny if it just remained a skit.

For anyone who owns "Shut up you fucking baby", listen to the second track, and then watch the scene where Terry says "Is this Tas-Tee Liqours?", and then tonyas reaction. I bet david added that part.

Too much of a plot, not enough random divergences. Not to mention the fact that it has been disowned by Bob and David. I'd like to see a cut w/ a commentary of them just bitterly ripping the shit out of the film and its producers for 90 minutes. That would be worth a purchase.
But it was funny when the Fooderator exploded.

I thought the scenes they had in the credits were funny. The "outtakes" they created to parody the ones included in so many of Jackie Chan's pre-American-made movies, where they show Jackie or some stunt worker getting hurt.
It was just funny to see Ronnie get hurt in some stupid way, and at the end be carted off on a stretcher, all the while holding his thumb up.
All in all the movie wasn't bad, probably because Bob and David warned us before I saw it (so my expectations were tempered). And I never really enjoyed the Ronnie character, so it was a decent rental.
