Hi Everyone!

It's time for the first unofficial Blow Up The Moon Contest!

With the release of Mr. Show, Season 4 just around the corner, wouldn't it be great to win a free copy?! (Yes it would)

Well here's your chance.


I thought short and hard about a way to make this contest unique... but then I decided just to balk at effort and take the low road.

So it will be a simple "caption" contest.

I will post 5 "wild and zany" pictures. All you have to do is send my an instant message with your 5 captions. Simple as that. Don't feel you have to limit your caption to one sentence. Be creative. There are no limits!

The winning entry will win a free copy of Mr. Show Season 4 on DVD (and maybe another treat too), shipped to you by Amazon.com (where the big boys play).

The photo's will be up later this week.

I hope people are entering this. It's impossible to tell since the entries are supposed to be submitted in the form of a private message. It's a very cool and generous gesture. It would be a shame if no one responded to it. Or if there was only one shitty entry that won by default. So how's it going, Punt?

Personally I'm not entering because I NEED to go out and get this from one of the stores that's open at midnight the night of its release. Plus I can afford it without a problem and want to give someone else a shot. Also, I'm looking at those pictures and drawing a blank. And lastly, I'm holding out for the NEXT unofficial BUTM contest where you give away a Toyota Prius and I don't wanna be disqualified because I won the LAST contest. Well I didn't enter because I could only think of anything for #1 and 3. Had I been endowed with a better imagination, I would have entered for sure. The whole contest thing is great.

And don't think you're the only one who has to pay up for these prizes, I'd be happy to paypal (or whatever) you some money to contribute. I wouldn't start a contest myself.. paying international postage sucks.

Let's see who can re-create themselves into a Mr. Show character. Winner gets... something. But I don't know what.
