So that was in response to something? One of those deals where you hit the wrong button and started a new thread instead of responding to an existing one? I thought I read pretty much every post people put up here these days, but I am COMPLETELY lost.

I'm sorry if I sounded a bit harsh, Mr. K. I couldn't figure out what your post meant, so I thought I'd fuck with you a little bit. In fact, most of what I was writing ("anti-whatever") had absolutely NOTHING to do with you, or anything else for that matter. I post A LOT of nonsense (ask around) and I took your post -- which I THOUGHT (past tense) was nonsense -- as a cue to do my thing.

I think there's a tendency on ALL internet message boards or forums or whatever for the veterans to get a little too comfortable and forget what it was like being a new-b. Clearly I'm guilty of that. I was looking something up on a Sesame Street/Muppet message board the other day and someone was goin' fuckin' apeshit on a new-b over something stupid. I didn't post anything there, but I'm thinking, "It's a fucking Sesame Street forum!! Take it easy! Sunny days sweepin' the clouds away, asshole!" I mean, on a forum for fans of "Mr. Show" I think a little sarcasm and ribbing can be expected, but not THERE!

I would suggest going in to the Mr. Show Directory and start posting in there. Look at the old threads that talk about the show and the cast.

There are threads in there that talk about favorite episode, favorite cast member etc.... That's a good place to get your feet wet. It's always nice to have new fresh points of view.

Try not to take anyone too seriously here... If you say something funny people will laugh. If you say something stupid people will tell you it's stupid.

If someone tells you that you're stupid try not to reply to them by saying anything even more stupid (stupider)...It'll just make a bigger arguement with more users and the thread will quickly lose all purpose and direction. (ofcourse alot of these threads start with no purpose or direction at all....)

Anyways. That's my two-cents.

I was just thinking about that myself. I know there's an "ignore list" in our control panel, but I'd never tried it until now. It blocks out all of a given user's messages. It just shows their name and says:

Okay first off, they say alot of times if you've had trauma at a young age all memories of it can be repressed and it can result in fears/depression that appear unrelated to the actual trauma. So for instance, if you were molested as a child, and you repress all memories of it, you might end up being afraid of the dark and get scared when you are alone.

So my point is this....there is a chance that EVERYONE gets molested as a child, and the majority never find out, they simply think they are scared of snakes or heights etc... .

So I say with 50% certainty that I've never been molested.
