Where did you read that? I work at the showbox and I didn't think that was anounced yet so I didn't want to say anything.

Well, I heard he was gonna do a show for No Vote Left Behind and I found this:

Oh, you mean "independent comedian" Robin Williams? What are you guys a comedy club now?

I wish. I'm tired of all the shitty bands we get here.

I can imagine, my man.

There'll be some good comedy here, what with Patton Oswald & Brian Posehn at Nuemo's

I'm already set up for the Neumo's show it should be pretty good. Hopefully it's not hot that day because that place is so fucking unbearable when it's hot.

Are you going to Bumbershoot? Greg Behrendt is doing an hour each night with special guests. I wouldn't be surprised do see DC there at least one of those nights.

That's right. I've only been there a few times, but each time it's borderline unbearable, what with the shoddy air flow.

I saw Behrendt when he opened for David earlier this year. He was pretty funny, but I don't know if I'll brave the crowds at Bumbershoot. I wouldn't mind seeing Mary-Lynn as well. She's there this year, too, right?

I forgot to mention the bartenders at Neumo's are snotty as fuck. Even for the hill.

Final shedule announced:

I'm not interested in checking out the bands on david's night, but I'll probably go anyway.

Quarters, did you go to Bumbershoot? I missed it.

I saw a few things at bumbershoot. Nothing real impressive. Brian and Patton should be pretty good tonight thoug. Are you going?

Pig Josh

It was good. Patton seemed genuinely blown away by the crowd response.

He really did. It was one of the most fun comedy shows I've ever been to.

And David Cross last night at the Showbox?? Fucking hilarious. Mostly old material, but great nonetheless. Made up for the shittiness of the music.

Neil Hamburger is also coming to the showbox in November. He's performing with Pinback and The Advantage. The Advantage are amazing. I'll proably just wait until then to see him.

Oh man, not shit? I love The Advantage. Pinback aren't what they used to be, but The Advantage is really great. Thanks.

Didn't mean to offend. But seriously, they just aren't that interesting anymore. I really liked their first album. Just a personal preference.
