And just to keep everyone updated, I am in fact attempting to go now. So long as the cost isn't too insane and I can figure out the logistics of getting too and from wherever it is I need to go, I'm there baby!

Wow! I totally forgot about those things. I used to live in Mainz, Germany when I was a kid and loved those little pieces of shit. The toy always sucked but I was a little twerp and didn't know any better. I also remember the Pomme Frite man who had a cart and sold french fries out of it. Kind of like the ice cream man but with sizzling hot french fries in a cone.

Nah, but I visited Europe a couple of times and am addicted to those fucking toys. Even though the chocolate is kind of terrible.
