The Canadian Comedy Awards will be a highlight of a newly established comedy festival in London, Ontario.
The Canadian Comedy Awards and Festival runs from Sept. 10-14 and will feature a host of activities and performances for both comedy industry insiders and fans.
The five-day festival, taking place in eight venues across the city, features writing workshops and a "stand-up boot camp" along with performances by Dave Broadfoot, alumni from Yuk Yuk's and the Humber College School of Comedy, and almost everyone nominated for this year's awards.
The Funny Flicks Film Festival will screen shorts and features, including the nominees that dominate the film categories: Men with Brooms, Rub and Tug, My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Goldmember.
