I just caught SNL with Horatio Sanz doing Jimmy Buffet. When it was LIVE he said "god damn"! It seemed obvious that it wasn't just a slip of the tongue because he tried to say it once, stumbled over it, and said it a second time CLEARLY! They reran this episode once before and I missed it. Anyway, I just caught it and, as I suspected, they cut the audio for the "god" part! Assholes!

i just saw it too, and maybe I'm too drunk or maybe it was too loud with all the gay people talking in the room, but that was the weirdest segment I've seen on that show, it seemed unrehearsed and they were cracking themselves up but it wasn't funny. Were they on drugs or something? I don't get it.

i didnt notice that, but what i did notice, was that in, what may be the same sketch, haratio sanz (fat instructor) was the same character as the 2,000 lbs. man from "like chicken...delicious chicken".

That's just Fallon & Sanz. That's just what they do. This thing started when Will Ferrell was on the show where they would start cracking up for what seemed like no reason to the home viewer. Sometimes it's funny, but it's definitely CHEAP! It's very "Carol Burnett". And any SNL historian will tell you that Lorne Michaels_used to go OUT OF HIS WAY to NOT have anything that looked remotely like something from Carol Burnett's show on HIS show!

Somebody PLEASE help me resurrect sketch comedy!

I don't remember that. I haven't seen much tonight. I just happened to walk past the TV when the Jimmy Buffet thing was on. I've been quite busy baking a frozen apple pie, dicking around on the internet, getting drunk and feeling sorry for myself because I don't have a woman, nor do I have the social skills to obtain one.

Two times that it was funny when they cracked up was the "Jeffreys" sketch with Fallon, Sanz, Ferrell and Sean Hayes.

And, fucking Debbie Downer. I think it was from this season.
