So I'm not a fan of Sarah Silverman for the simple fact that she plays it safe behind the controversial! She simply says things that are shocking with no real motive behind what she's saying.
Frankly, like many other working comics, I feel she's taking the easy way out.
I even wrote a post about this on my blog, stemming on the topic of
MetaBigotry in Comedy (http://standup101.blogspot.com/2007/08/metabigotry-in-comedy.html)
I think comics with a platform like she has, should push for more. I'm a firm believer that "Comedians are the barometer of our society!"
