If you don't think that's funny, then you don't think that's funny.

There's times I really wanna hate that guy in the same way that there's certain things I just can't stand about Andy Kaufman. But I haven't laughed harder in a while than when I saw that on TV last sunday.

Question: What the fuck does "BOO-yah-kah-shah!" mean? And how do you spell it? It's hard to look something up when you haven't got a clue where to even begin on the spelling. And there's another one: "wug-WAHN" or something like that?

"Is she... tight... like a man's... anoos?"

Respect, bitches!

Yeah, what DOES booyakasha or whatever mean? I heard that on The Office and figured it was some British thing.

'Booyakasha' and pretty much everything else you don't understand that Ali G says, is made up. He became really huge over here 3 or 4 years ago with a small segment on a show called the 11 o'clock news or something. Then he got even bigger when he did this alternative to the Queens speech at christmas and people were impersonating him left and right. Incredibly irritating.

Then he got his own show and movie, people got sick of it, so he buggered off to America.

I can DEFINITELY see getting sick of him REAL quick if he started to get too much exposure. I wonder if he learned from his mistakes.

I'm still up in the air about Ali G.

Don't over-think it. Just laugh when you feel it and don't when you don't.

he was on conan a couple weeks ago, as borat, and he was overdoing it so much that i had to turn off the tv. usually i like him, but he was trying too damn hard to be funny.

That's what I'm doing. What I can't decide is if the highs justify the lows enough for me to come away with an overall feeling of having enjoyed myself.

One thing that bugs me is the way that he always remains in-character for every public appearance. It feels so gimmicky.

Yeah I felt the same way when i saw that one. I like his show as much as anyone can like a show that's in it's second season that they only watch on occasion. I would like to see him out of character though, maybe he's a funny guy and not a gimmick. :\

Ever see Christopher Guest when he's just being himself? The man is a GENIUS, but to see him being interviewed or when he was doing the news on SNL... just a DREADFUL bore. Some people just shouldn't break character publicly, sadly.

I really enjoy his Borat segments. Probably the funniest thing on TV right now, in my opinion.

He was himself on the Daily Show. I thought the Conan thing was pretty funny, though.
