I would have started this topic myself but I'm one of those bashful, charming yet shy English gentlemen. I also have the haircut of a lesbian and talk like a retarded 4 year old.

Team America looks pretty neat though, better than that pile of crap Thunderbirds movie anyway.

Fuck Matt and Trey!

These guys constantly rail on celebrities for using their exposure for political causes, yet they use their 30 minute COMEDY show to do the same thing.

South Park is funny, when its not telling me tongue-bathe John Ashcroft's nutsack.

Yeah I'd much rather their show be unoriginal and pointless.

moron.

i think team america looks like the best comedy of 2004, or 2005, i forget, when its coming out. but speaking of marrionettes, does anyone remember a show on mtv called like Super Adventure Team, and it was a marrionette show, good show, i thnik the year was 1998

This is probably, so far, my favorite movie of all time.

There was not one part of the movie that was left unfunny or interesting! Loved it from beginning to end!!!!

The soundtrack is probably the best soundtrack to come out for a movie in the past decade. The songs were just priceless...[but the soundtrack won't come out till Novemeber 2nd which bummed me out but I got some cool free Team America merchandise from a dude in the audience that knew somebody in the production team (wristband, pin, bumper sticker...some other dude got the huge ass poster though)]

I know some of you won't see it till this Friday but all I have to say is....*sigh* actually I'm left speechless....

What's funny is that in an interview they said that if someone doesn't know what the hell is going on in politics, they shouldn't vote. That comment ruffled a lot of celebrities' asses, including Sean Penn who actually wrote them a long angry, nasty letter scolding them, telling them they shouldn't have said that. He didn't mention anything about being puppet-ized in their movie, though.

If people followed Matt and Trey's advice and didn't vote on shit they didn't know about, Bush would not be president right now, and he would not even be on the ballot for 2004.

Matt and Trey make me laff and that's why I watch their show.
If I wanted to watch politics, I'd throw in CNN or CSPAN.

I saw the shit ouf of this movie, and I was extremely laugh-y but at the same time angry.

I was laugh-y because it was really funny, but then I was angry because of what Brain Stew said:

Fuck Matt and Trey!

South Park is funny, when its not telling me tongue-bathe John Ashcroft's nutsack.

He makes a very good point. Hypocrites make me angry.

Also, I was very mad because I was getting the "look at the way Americans think and picture people in other countries" but then the guy next to me would laugh, like, "HAHA! They totally made that Arab dude talk funny!"

But then I felt like an asshole for being a snob so full of myself and assuming that I was one of the few people in the audience knowing what the joke was.

Fortunately for me the guy then turned to his friend and said, "Dude, what the fucks a 'jihad'?" and his friend said, "Fuck, I dunno. I think it's just one of those words they made up."

TRUE.
STORY.

Somehow I am surprised and unsurprised at the same time.

My picture on the "Who here has met a cast member of Mr. Show?" thread on the Mr. Show & Cast section says otherwise...

And I see myself in the mirror everyday.

I look more like the picture. LOL
