A group of American teens come to Ireland to visit an Irish school friend who takes them on a camping trip in search of the local, fabled magic mushrooms. When the hallucinations start taking hold, the panicked friends are attacked by ghostly creatures; never able to determine if they are experiencing gruesome reality or startling delirium. When one teenager unknowingly eats the dangerous Death's Head mushroom, the group's nightmare takes a deeply sinister turn...

basing an entire plot line on the effects of a psychodelic drug(s) works only in the rarest of cases. The theatre will be filled with white baseball capped douchebags who think dave matthews is a really good musician.

I agree, though to be fair, the united states is filled with white baseball capped douchebags who think dave matthews is a really good musician.

Hey, goodgem, thanks for contributing such a funny post!:p

Ok-- I broke down and actually watched the Shrooms trailer. Spammers 1, Self Respect 0.

Impressions-- that "leader" character is a third rate Colin Farrell knock off. Also, if we are going to freaking Ireland to do this thing-- where's Lep in the Hood star Warwick Davis?

I don't foresee myself ever watching this film, even on cable. Unless they get Lucky the Leprechaun to appear in Shrooms 2: Magically Delicious.

Besides-- when you think about it, Shrooms is the ultimate conservative Christian flick.

Do drugs-- and then die. Jesus loves you.

I thought I was going to die on acid once, but after a backseat go-ped ride turning into a street curb crash halfway back to the crib & 5 minutes of The People VS Larry Flynt in an 8x8 room with nothing but a bed & tv in it, I felt like a new man.

By the way, am I the only one that thought that said lindsay lohan ?
Now, I'd pay $9 to go to the theatre to see her on mushrooms.

Turns out all you have to do is hang around outside Promises and you can see her f"d up for nothing.

Still-- I'd nail that shut.

You guys are great, by the way.
