At this link (http://www.chortle.co.uk/student07/london/clips.php) you'll find video of my performance at the Student Comedy Award heat in London this past week (under my show business name, Robert Jones). There's a little bit of text at the bottom of the page where you can vote for one of the people who didn't win to go through. Vote for whoever you like, but I would of course appreciate your support.

I'd also like to point out that they chose the wrong 1 minute and 30 seconds out of my seven minute set. I never liked the whole cat-fucking joke, but I was losing the student crowd and felt it was the only way to get them back on my side. I was mistaken, even they didn't like it. I'm a little ashamed of that whole night.

*Note that there's the obligatory Jimmy Carr follower amongst the other contestents.

I couldn't make out the first joke, but the rest was really funny. why leave out cat-fucking? it happens way too much to be exclusive or weird or ps more cat jokes.

i voted for pali!

Scariest thing in the world to do: get up in front of a bunch of college aged jackasses who've watched enough late-night Comedy Central and had enough friends tell them "Dude-- you're so funny!" that they now think they could totally do stand-up if only they weren't so busy spending their parent's money on cheap beer. You held you own, stood strong, and will rise again (like both the South and BUTM).

And like it isn't a dead give away that the winner was a "Prince"-- a bit difficult to stand up to a few centuries of monarchical control. Though, I have to say, this looks a lot less like the house of Winsor than Prince Harry or William. Can't imagine how Di explained this Prince to Charles...
