Having already left his mark on TV via uproarious appearances on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and the MTV Video Music Awards, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is clawing his way into the music business. Robert Smigel's canine hand puppet's debut album, "Come Poop With Me," is due Oct. 7 via Warner Bros. and will come bundled with a bonus DVD.
The DVD features live performances of such tracks as "Together in Pooping" featuring Sandler, O'Brien, Black, Sanz and Maya Rudolph, as well as interviews with MTV's Kurt Loder and Iann Robinson and comedians Janeane Garofalo and Robert Wuhl. The release features guest appearances by Conan, Adam Sandler, Tenacious D's Jack Black, Subway pitchman Jared Fogle, and others.
Triumph will also have a new video premiering on MTV the week of October 7th.
