Adam Sandler movies

Another reason I don't like working with "suits" (aka White People)....

Here was a conversation I had today at the photocopy machine:

WHITEY: "what is your favorite Adam Sandler movie?"

ME: I only ever seen Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison.

WHITEY: "What about Big Daddy"

ME: oh yeah I saw that

WHITEY: "What about Punch Drunk Love?"

ME: oh yeah I saw that

WHITEY: "well those are good movies too."

ME: oh yeah.

WHITEY: "And you HAVE to see 50 First Dates and Mr. Deeds, they are good too"


Before this conversation I was going to talk to this guy about David Cross.... guess what....now there is no way. Unless Mr. Deeds is a great movie.... which it can't be. How many movies by Adam Sandler are worth seeing.... If anyone says "Bulletproof" I will need your address so I can come to your house and beat you with a tire iron.

While Adam Sandler is the star of Punch Drunk Love, I would hardly call it an Adam Sandler movie. Paul Thomas Anderson wrote and directed it, which makes it nothing like any other movie Adam Sandler has ever done. All Paul Thomas Anderson movies are worth seeing and worth owning.

I would say the only pure Adam Sandler movie of any merit is The Waterboy. The rest are junk. The only good part about Mr. Deeds is John Turturro.

I'm pretty sick of Sandler films. There was a time when seeing a 30 year old man act like a retarded retard was funny, then I hit puberty. He has a real insight into the character mind you, I've worked with retards and let me tell you, they can do some funny shit.

He's moved away from that character in his more recent films mind you, fully exposing him for the talentless cuntkicker he is. Just an opinion.

I know a youngster who believes that any movie pulled out of sandler's ass is genius. He is the only one i know who could see past the thousands of product placement adds in eight crazy nights, and can sit through hours of sandlers wonderfully famous bluaha blah bluuahaua. I can only dream that once he gets older and starts to view better films such as Resevoir Dogs, that he will finally drop his sandler crutch and join the rest of society, did i say rest, i meant those not too dumbed down, and realize that adams movies are those thought up last minute with anything a two year old would like.
