Hello everyone. Newbie here, so please be gentle.

On a mission to find some people who are willing to type random thoughts out onto a Word Document, string them together with some other words like 'he said', 'she said', 'the vicar said', 'when the policeman fell down the cliff, I exclaimed' and things like that. Then submit it to the Editors at Chaff Online (http://www.chaffonline.co.uk) and they'll probably post it on the site.

Thing is, as much fun as they have doing Chaff, they also have to do proper jobs, which doesn't involve them adopting the mental age of three and being able to write such drivel.

And if you take a look at the site, you'll see there are no external ads at all, so it's not generating any income for anyone (unfortunately). This would be just an opportunity to have some throwaway stuff published. And we would really like an American perspective on things sometimes.

So go have a look, see what you think, and hopefully hear from you all soon.

Thanks ants. Thants.

Hmm, that's not a bad site unfortuantly I haven't the time to go over it thouroghly right now, I'll have to check it out more later but I like what I see.

What type of pieces are you interested in taking as submissions? If I can squeeze in the time I might throw something your way eventually. I need to get a better feel for the material on the site though. Anything on there you recommend?

Thanks Stab.

The best features to read are probably one called Goggle Eyed, Good News and maybe the latest one, Climate Control.

To be honest, if you write anything that you find funny, it's worth sending on. Diversity is good.

If you don't find the time, thanks again for taking the time to have a look.

You can click here (james.pollard@btinternet.com) for the e-mail address to send stuff. It's also James' e-mail address that's available on the Profile page of the Chaff site.

Thanks Punt!

I've got a few things I can submit. One of them is an article for a newspaper that saw me performing some scathing, profanity-ridden comedy and asked me to write an article for them, then rejected it because it was too scathing and full of profanity.

One quick question before I send you my stuff: Will we be allowed to publish our submissions elsewhere if the opportunity arises?
