A couple weeks ago or so, the movie Shock Treatment came out on DVD. Question: Should I care?
Here's the reason I ask. The first time I saw (parts of) The Rocky Horror Picture Show was just a few years ago, DECADES after it became a weird "cult" thing. So, when I finally saw it, I rebelled HARD. "How can these people who immediately reject anything remotely mainstream embrace a movie that features MEAT LOAF???", I literally screamed. (To be fair, I think Meat's scene was the first thing I saw.)
Anyway, I recently started thinking that maybe the music from RHPS is pretty great and I should give it another shot. Then I see that the "(¿)sequel(?)" was just released on DVD. THEN I saw that there was a set with both RHPS AND Shock Treatment available! So, what do you think? Should I take the plunge and get BOTH? Or neither? Or just the first one? Do NOT tell me there's not a single Rocky Horror geek among us!!
