Has to be the controversial episode where Vanessa wants to try out for the boys basketball team. Cliff keeps telling her it's not worth the torment but then Theo explains how it's more than just basketball. And Cliff understands. Then, Vanessa makes the team. She is then raped by one of the white players father. Claire Huxtable is then forced to defend the boy's father in court while Cliff has to perform an abortion on Vanessa. Every parents worst nightmare I would imagine.

Either that episode, or the one where Rudy gets a tooth ache.

Also a classic.

i like the one where bill gets sucked into a computer and has to fight other players for servival, but they dont know he's a user, and then clu is all "is this about those unpaid parking tikets?" and then the huxtables escape on those neat-o motorcycles and try to get to the master control program. that one was so awsome.
i have it on tape.

I love the episode where Cliff eats the sandwich before bed and has bad dreams involving muppets.

Dude, how could you forget the episode with Rudy, her friend Kenneth/"Bud" and the fat mute kid...Peter? Dr. Huxtable finally gets Peter to talk by making him a sandwich. Peter reveals why he doesn't like to talk: "I'm afraid people will make fun of me. Also, my father touched my butthole." A very special episode of the Cosby Show *indeed*.

I was joking. They never aired the rape/abortion episode.

You can still find it quite easily on line, though. Just Google it or use your favorite file sharing program. I seriously thought you were just making all that stuff up until I found the episode on so many fan sites! That IS a great episode! I'm not even that big a fan of the show, but that was PHENOMENAL!!! What I found most surprising was that NBC had NO objection whatsoever to the content. And there was, by the way, a LOT of content you didn't mention that was, to say the least, atypical for a primetime, network, "family" show! Like when Cliff says, "Jesus rim-lickin' CHRIST!!! Your fucking CUNT stanks like otter shit!!!" Then he pulled a giant, novelty sized tuna can out of her speculum-dilated vag'. I can't believe they SHOWED that!!! You'd think someone from hair & makeup would have at least TRIMMED that thing a little, knowing it was gonna be filmed. Oh well. Maybe they thought hairier was funnier. But one scene I couldn't get into -- though, to be fair, the audience REALLY seemed to enjoy it -- was the big "cock sword-fight" scene between Cliff & Grandpa. I'm sorry, it just seemed to come from WAY out of left field. Nothing to do with the plot AT ALL, as far as I could see. But the smack addicts playing ass-darts with AIDS needles was HILARIOUS!!! I've watched that scene THREE TIMES already! Anyway, I'm digressing too much. I'm sorry. I started saying that NONE of that is why NBC wouldn't air it. It was because you could see a TINY bit of the boom mic for a SPLIT second in one of the shots! Can you believe that? Bill was PISSED! Still is to this day, I hear. I guess they had to get it close enough to pick up the abortion table queef. Bill was like, "Well can't we just re-shoot that scene?" But the season had already wrapped when they noticed the problem and none of the other actors were available. So Bill's all, "Well can't we get a STUNT CUNT???" He cracked himself up a little when he said that, but you could tell he was still really pissed.

I've heard RUMORS that the only piece of that episode ever to be shown in any official capacity was a funny little out-take on the old "Bloopers" show. I can't confirm that though. I don't even know what it was that they (supposedly) showed on there. I wish I did. I fucking LOVE bloopers!!! Anyone know anything about that?
