Unless David Cross is doing stand-up, he's a fucking joke. A real Olive Garden pile of free breadsticks.
David Cross is officially at the bottom of my favorite comedians list. Mr. Show simply isn't enough cred, yo

I love David Cross but he seems to be one of those actors who does both movies he likes and movies that he knows will suck but that pay the bills.
Playing Steve Martin's great-grandson in Father of The Bride VII must be better than working at a real job, right?

Wait, so you don't think his stand-up is as good as his acting? Or do you think the breadsticks are serious business?
Edit: Klaus, your so on it.

I think david' cross's stand up isn't as funny as his acting. Tobias was really the only thing besides Job on AD that was worth watching. His stand up is just generic satire that occasionally gets a great observation.

So, what, is his good acting going to make this a good movie? Or even a movie worth sitting through?

MEE!!! I'm going to leave the rest of the quote alone, for now, but....

Martin & Orloff, Eternal Sunshine, Melvin Goes to Dinner, Ghost World, Waiting For Guffman.....
Arrested Development!
edit: Oh wait, I didn't actually read this thing. Are we all deciding that we hate David Cross because he does a lot of shitty movies? The guys got bills to pay, very few people in the talking pictures have the luxury of turning down roles they don't like/know will be shit.
The stuff he's had a lot of control over (i.e. his standup, Mr. Show) have been fantastic. Why all the hate?

I think that part that made me upset was the not so nice things said about David Cross and Arrested Development. However, I didn't want to answer because I didn't want to argue over it. It's their opinions, and I guess they brought up good points.
Sorry it took me so long to answer, Emily. I hope you're not mad.

Comedy is a taster's choice. Arguing about what is and isn't funny is no better than arguing on the internet. You're retarted. People can feel free to decide what is and isn't humourous to them. Allow people to have their own opinions and enjoy whatever it is that they enjoy. I really don't care for anymore of this verbal anal-leakage. Thankyou!
