Having a reputable traveling record, I seem to have touched on or at least read about a good portion of historical landmarks, interesting local pubs, efficient transportation stations, but lately my goal among my travels is to find the "funny." So, now I reside in California (sadly, work has detered me from taking my travels worldwide for about a year) and I am finding myself a hobby. Comedy Clubs! I am a regular. Never thought I would actually verbalize it like that, but hey, I'm not ashamed...yet.

So, to you almighty comedy gurus. I would like to compile a list of comedy clubs in California. North, South, East and West, and all those hick, surfer, yuppy, trashy towns in between, that extend a celebratory invitation to the many men and woman of comedy. If you have some "funny" to give, feel free to MAKE IT KNOWN

Stefy,
You probably already know about this one, but check out The Comedy Store On Sunset Blvd. in LA. Miss Norma Jean (www.missnormajean.com) has her showcase there on 2 August at 8 PM.
You also may want to check out Martini Blues in Huntington Beach.

Thanks Gary! I've been to a comedy show at that club before. The other one I checked out was The Laugh Factory on Sunset blvd. I believe this is their link www.thelaughfactory.com

They had some awesome comics, and crazy surprises when I went. Dave Chapelle showed up out of now where! Im gonna have to see Miss Norma Jean for sure
