i'm downloading the new nelly furtado album and i'm gonna listen to it from front to back tonight and probably enjoy at least some of it

i'm on track 1 scotch

its pretty mellow so far

she is singing all breathy and there is all sorts of cheesy synth

her voice is kinda low in the mix and i think maybe that is deliberate.

but the next track is maneater and that song is pretty catchy and danceable so i'll sit through this

the pace is sorta picking up a little bit and now there is some dude rapping

her voice is sorta scratchy but i guess thats what makes it unique

i dunno if i can take a whole album of it though

also this version of maneater is different than the one that leaked a couple weeks ago i think

it should have ended about a minute ago

seriously this album is a few half-decent booty shakers, a couple songs that were probably meant to be singles but didnt quite pan out, and then like, half slow jams that are too cheesy to play at an 8th grade dance

i am 2:30 into a 6+ minute meandering pile of pensive garbage "WHY DO ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END" wah wah wah eat a taco about it clodhopper!!

i cant believe i had any hope for this album. see if i ever dabble in liking mainstream shit again.
