I'm not a big movie theater person b/c I hate being around alot of people when I'm watching a good movie, but I'm really interested in watching Eternal Sunshine, even if it means to leave my house for a few hours. I love those kinds of movies like Lost in Translation & Punch Drunk Love... I know I'm just babbling on but that's one movie I'd love to see.

God, i so know what you mean! I hate movie theaters especially the ones near where i live. Its a hang-out for a bunch of stupid high school kids. I'm such a hermit myself. I'd rather just be inside and watch Mr. Show and get high, but yeah, i would leave my house too to watch Eternal Sunshine...i don't even know really what its about, but it just looks good. And it has ELIJAH WOOD in it!!

its one of the best movies i've seen in a while. its already at #50 on imdb's top 250 and rising (which isnt saying much, though, being that anyone can vote on it)

In case you haven't already seen it Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind also includes a small bit part starring David Cross. His lines are few but hilarious.

I hope the first poster wasn't being serious with a line like, " I love those kinds of movies like Lost in Translation & Punch Drunk Love... "
Translated: "I like those kinds of movies that star A-list celebs but have a indie vibe, 'cause people recgonize them but as indie movies and so I can be trendy without having to really delve too deep into to the counter-culture. Did I mention I also LOVED The Virgin Suicides? And I have a Fight Club poster hanging in my room even though I've never actually seen the entire movie? I also really, really like emo music."
Barf.
But, Eternal Sunshine is a good, good movie.

No, no, I liked them too, but they don't have anything to do with each other so it pisses me off when they say, "I really like movies like..." and group them all together, as if they belong in the same category because they were the indie hit of the year. 'Cause that's the only thing they have in common. So they are saying, "I like movies that are like independent films that make alot of money." You can't do that. You see what I'm saying?

I know what you mean Julie. Another thing that annoys me is when people give all the friggin credit to the star of a movie, like they are the only ones who made it; like the movie would not have happened without them
Anyway, Eternal Sunshine is a good movie and thats a good line from a pope poem. Jim Carrey kicked that movie's ass. Good thing HE made that movie.

What I don't get is how does Jim Carrey's face turn green when he puts on a wooden mask?
Smokin'!

Damn, you got me.
Please edit it though and make the S in 'smokin'!' capital, just so it looks better.
