Episode order

Can anyone tell me why all the episodes on the 3rd season dvd are out of order? I have the Mr. Show book and the shows are listed in a completely different order than whats on the dvd. Also on episode 309 "The Return of the Curse..." when the show first opens, Bob tells the audience that this is their first one-hour special. The episode is not an hour long. Did I miss something?Was this a joke? Am I stupid for having ever asked this question?

In case anyone is too lazy to visit that link, the book has them in production order, and the DVDs have them in the order in which they aired.

Also, the 1 hour special thing was a joke. It's one of those Mr Showy jokes.
