I decided to read the book due to all the hoo-ha on the TV about it and, wow, what a mediocre book.

Dude, you actually expected an Oprah book club book to be good?

That Tolstoy guy really blows too. In all fairness, the vast majority of the books she recommends are complete shit.

To my knowledge, she has never recommended a Vonnegut book, which means she is a dumb cunt.

Personally, I'm not satisfied unless at least 75% of the book is the end.

Good rule of thumb: most Oprah books are either about overcoming stuff, or helping menopausal women embrace their defunct sex-boxes.

Fight Club was ... okay.
It's been awhile since I've read it, but I think I liked it.
I dunno. I find myself just reading more and more non-fiction.
...
Actually, I think I hate reading. Reading's for faggots.

Do you read McSweeney's? You should be reading McSweeney's. Why aren't you reading McSweeney's right now? Go out and buy a McSweeney's right now, then read it. Right now. McSweeney's.

No, sorry, Brain Stew, I think that was Roddimus.
But, Brain Stew, today's update on McSweeneys.net is particularly good. And not the least bit elitist, so you might even "get" it.

HOW IS THAT FUNNY?
You have to admit that Roddimus does a good impersonation of you and your illogical devotion to Tim McSweeny's reproductive organ, though.
