Today....
I gave a hooker a candy cane...
While she stood...
Waiting anxiously for her john...
Outside of a gas station...
And as I stood there..
Our eyes meeting eachothers...
One human being to the next..
I realized how selfish I was...
To give her something like that...
Without even thinking first to ask her first....
"are you a diabetic?"
