Invite Them Up - CD Realease Party 12/6/05 - NYC

The Invite Them Up recordings here in NYC some months back was a profound experience for me. Not only was I was able to meet and party with a great deal of the senior BUTM members including Agent Punt, Comedy Snobedy, Huond, and the infamous apotatojudge (who I miss with excrutiating sadness every goddamned day), but I was also able to get on stage with Todd Barry and meet most of my favorite comedians.

The fruits of those three nights' labor is coming to fruition (finally) and there will be a CD release party on Tuesday December 6th 2005 at the Bowery Ballroom. The details are still sketchy and a lot still needs to be announced by the organizers, but the date is set dudes!

Huond said he saw something about this in the Village Voice, but I needed immediate confirmation (because I'm priss). I e-mailed Eugene Mirman about the event and moments later got the following response:

Yes. It is us. It will be our CD release party. I'm not sure who is doing the show yet, but we'll let you know. And the world.

So there you have it. I can't wait. I hope to see some of you motherfuckers there as this board has been rotting like an old blue jay turd and I am sick to death of the internet.

I am performing my own Stand up in Toronto on Dec. 5th. So that will make me a no show for the Dec. 6th in NYC.

Apparently now Kelsy's all "oh, I can't come, muh muh muh" (direct quote) and I'm like, "this is about our autumn in Billings, isn't it? It only happened once and it's not my fault you can't look me in the eye. I'm not responsible for your past, especially if you won't share it with me. I'm just trying to form us into one entity so you'll stop being so distant and I don't have to talk to your MOTHER to find out you're allergic to the coconut bonbons I got you when you made employee of the week. Invite Them Up is usually 21+, but I sent Eugene an e-mail and he's gonna try to make it 18+ for the party. Once i get more info i'll let you guys know. Rizzle, you better go to this. you too brain stew. and seth. and terris. and anyone i've forgotten.

It's Tuesday on one of the final weeks of the semester. I don't know. If I do go, I'll be sure to "let you in" ;).

I have no money, so it is very doubtful.
