ComedySnobedy, do you want to write a capsule review of Aziz's Premium Blend taping or shall I? No, you go ahead. Seriously, you can ComedySnobedy. Oh, OK
To be brief.... I went to two tapings of Comedy Central's Premium Blend last night (hosted by Damon Wayans... ick) and ended up seeing ComedySnobedy there. We sat in the same row. We were VIPS. We talked. We spat on the morons who had to wait in line. The camera was in our faces a lot; mine more, though, because I was in the aisle. I'm ugly and greasy so I am sure the footage of me will end up in the editor's desktop trash can. Boo hoo hoo.
There were a lot of Jewish college students there which I hated because college kids ingeneral are too proud to be in college, Jewish or not, and their vanity is annoying. Hopefully their parents will wake up and cut them off someday so they can cry into their yamakas and dry their tears with the sharp end of a dreidel. Just kidding, kykes! *
Anyways, the whole thing went on for about 2 hours and we saw about 8 Comedians. Aziz killed and I felt he was the strongest performer there. The other Comedians were actually pretty decent, but they were too 'stand-upish' if you catch my meaning. Very hammy and goofy. But, yeah, Aziz killed, the crowd totally dug his set, and it was worth sitting there for 2 hours for his 8-minute set.
ComedySnobedy went to the afterparty but I did not as I had an early morning today. I am hoping he will have plenty of wonderful stories to share.
ComedySnobedy is growing on me and am glad I run into him at these things.
* FYI, not all college kids are Jewish. All NEW YORK college kids are though
