I am slightly prejudiced towards the live show. I have seen Stella live a bunch of times here in New York at a really small club called Fez. The unscripted feel of the live shows is so much better than the Comedy Central show. The TV show, though funny, seems really limited and contrived. But not everyone was lucky enough to see Stella live 'back in the day' so you're stuck with the TV show.

And, no, I'm not being pretentious so back off.
