I'm just curious as to what you thought about this movie. I saw it recently and thought it was great. For those of you who don't know about it, David Wain and Michael Showalter from The State wrote the movie. It's a spoof of those early 80's teen camp-type comedies. A lot of the cast from The State is in it, along with Janeane, Paul Rudd, etc.

That is one of my all time Fav. movies...everything in that movie is gold!!!!

http://www.statemedia.net is a great place to start. Some clips from the MTV shows, their ill-fated CBS special, and Wain / Showalter / Black's Stella (http://www.stellacomedy.com) video's.

Oh, and http://www.the-state.com is the official site. There's a great article on the site (originally from Details magazine) about their CBS special that went wrong. It really is sad :(

Word on the street is that MTV is working on The State DVD collection. Hopefully it'll be out soon.

Also, the DVD is usually only about $13 at BEST BUY or other fine stores... That is quite a few laughs and a bunch of stuff for such little money... The DVD is a must-have for anyone who laughs.
