Tis I JuanBallsac.

Let's weed out some idiots shall we.

Boondock Saints or Wonder Boys

Talk to Her or Old School

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or Annie Hall

Half Baked or Idle Hands

City of God or Bully

Hedwig and the Angry Inch or Donnie Darko

Dream a Little Dream or Dream a Little Dream 2

Yes, this is opinion. But all of us at BUTM should fucking know which one is a better film.

I've only seen both movies in the Half Bakes/Idle Hands matchup. And I barely can remember the latter movie.

And Fear and Loathing should've never been a movie.

For that, I'm picking Cabin Boy.

I thought Terry Gilliam did a good job with Fear and Loathing. It was a faithful adaptation and BY FAR the best Hunter Thompson movie.

Saying someone is an idiot for liking a different movie than you is like saying that someones a retard for liking chocolate ice cream more than vanilla.

Um, Top Gun.

Even though my opinion is God, JuanBallsac does not intend to berate anyone for their choice. Juan is just curious, thats all.

*sigh*

I want the Criterion version of Brazil but I don't want to pay nearly fifty dollars for a DVD.

That may be why I'm morbidly obese.

Where the hell is Klaus Kinski? This thread would be right up his alley. I haven't seen half the movies listed here so I can't really comment on them.

none of those movies are german so i don't think klaus would be any help here.

I've seen every one except for the bottom two with Corey Feldman. I don't understand the Bull/City of God match up, though, because they're both good movies, and I don't understand the Half Baked/Idle Hands match up because they're both terrible movies. One's a lot worse than the other, but they both still suck.

I couldn't get into Fear and Loathing either, but I'm a big Terry Gilliam fan (haven't read any Hunter S. though).

TW, the criterion version of Brazil is going for $43.00 (http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/search.cfm) at DeepDiscountDVD: a cheap and reliable way to get your DVDs (I know that now.)

Juan, what was the deal with this thead? I don't get it.

You know what? Me either.

But i can't stand that pederast Larry Clark, or his "Films."

As for Half Baked and Idle Hands, you totally ruled my trick question!

I'm so smart!

dream alittle dream vs dream a little dream 2 is a difficult decision. the first introduces corey feldman as the lead, bobby, and of course corey haim as dinger, as the easy going side kick. who's leg is broken cos his mom hits him with her station wagon by accident. "Are you raggin on my madre". and there's the great cover of dream a little dream with corey feldman lip syncing and looking like michael jackson. and jason robards as the crotchy old man who goes into the body of feldman (spiritually not physically). and i struggle because in the sequel haim has a larger role and he's my favorite corey. but dinger isn't the same he is definately in his vanilla ice faze. gosh. it's a toughy. but i'd go with the first, because it seems to come from a more naive and innocent point in both of their careers. and than haim got wicked fat and they both got creepy.
