Way to knock my post down to the number 2 slot with your absolutely irrelevant post, cock slave. Put it in the general discussions thread where it belongs.

Also, stay out of New York. We really DON'T like tourists.

Oh Klaus! You sure do a have a way with knocking on frienndly newbies!
I mean, I'm sure not gonna come to the defense of this guy! It's not like i know him, or we're buddies or anything, ya know, 'cause we're not!

Yeah, sure! There is a fantastic comedy club that very few Non-New Yorkers know about. Just go to 125th St. and Lenox Ave. and ask anyone around there where the "Nigger Jigaboo Coon" club is. An unusual name, I know, but you'll be in for quite a time!

That would probably depend on whether it was during the day or at night. I'll walk around Harlem during the day no problem, when the sun goes down that's another story.

I used to go to 116th st. every Saturday morning for my junior and senior year of High school. That's when I stood at an imposing 5'1" 104 lbs.

NEWSFLASH! For those of you who get their inaccurate impression of New York through TV and movies, allow me to drop a reality check on you.

Harlem is fast being gentrified by wealthy yuppies who have been systematically buying run-down brownstones in Harlem, only to fix them up and turn them into multi-million dollar pieces of property. Once these building get fixed up, it is only a matter of months before young, white, eager men and women slowly start to take over the neighborhood. Once this happens, the rents skyrocket and the original residents are forced out of their apartments and head up to the Bronx or even places in Connecticut. Sure, there are pockets of bad neighborhoods in Harlem but there are bad neighborhoods everywhere you go. The bottom line is that the white manifest destiny has turned Harlem into a largely white area and this momentum is not slowing. So, as much as I'd like to see Endless Bill get his ass whooped by a bunch of angry blacks, he would have to put some effort in making this happen. The Harlem of today ain't the Harlem of Die Hard 3.

I've been to the Apollo, I used to buy drugs on 127th, and I've been threatened by some groups of intimidating gentlemen there. While I agree that Harlem is no longer the slum of old and it's amazing to see how fast it's changing, you can easily have the shit beat out of you if you try.

One time I made a wrong turn in Peoria and then the houses stopped being very nice and my friend doug was like oh shit we're in niggerville so i turned around and hightailed it out of there.

Yeah, I used to be like that when I was a dork too. Eventually, you realize that black people are human beings too and even though you grew up in divergent cultures, you come to realize that the human condition is essentially the same for all of us. Regardless of your own particular social mores, human beings as a whole tend to have similar coping mechanisms. While variations in dialogue and insular veniculars may tend to make different cultural subsets have difficulty communicating on a one-on-one basis, if one focuses on the larger picture of social strata and ones place in it, it becomes easier to identify with and become more socially adaptable to anothers cultural differences.

Contact me before you come! With my brand new camera, I could make a lovely video of this beating.

Oh, by the way... klaus is right... nothing pisses me off more than you slow walking, starring at a fucking wall, amazed by a god damn pigeon, "Do you know where" everything is, mother-fucking tourists.

BUY A FUCKING MAP!

EDIT: ...unless it's during the summer and you're one of those hot, young, blond, short-skirt wearing, European, female tourists who come on the Staten Island Ferry all the time and get their skirts blown up when the boat moves and you realize, "Hey, it's kinda windy out here" (but you think that in a different language). Those I like... cause I get to lure them and their innocent, eager minds into my place and fuck them. Sweet :D

You can get your ass kicked ANYWHERE if you try. Not just Harlem.

The South Bronx is still rough at least. MUCH rougher than Harlem
