that i will LIKE
but right now i want to see a movie thats kinda like flight of the navigator only not all sci-fi-ish. maybe like a josh and sam or the wizard. it should be about kids on the road, and funny but not stupid funny. and they dont have to be on the ROAD road but they should be traveling, or running away. preferably from the late 80s early 90s.
thanx

Me too. It is one of my favorites of the French New Wave. It pisses me off that there is no legitimate DVD of "Weekend" out there. At least, not in the US. Criterion should be all over that shit but they aren't.

God TGS, you are so fucking pretentious

You should watch Loverboy starring Patrick Dempsey. Or any movie starring Patrick Dempsey from the 80's. Happy Together is a good one.

Stand By Me was exactly what I was thinking too. Good call. Kind of a classic with all the talent in that movie.

I went to see this in the movie theatre for the express purpose of getting the shitty little Nintendo Power book featuring sneak peeks of Super Mario Bros. 3

In case you're wondering, yes, I am ashamed to admit that.

It was amazing that he could use the Power Glove to play stand alone cabinet arcade games though. He didn't even need to plug it in!

Make it Cloak and Dagger, starring the immortal Dabney Coleman- plus Henry Thomas from ET: The Extra Terrestrial.

Release date: 1984.
Rated PG

As a bonus- Cloak and Dagger is the first movie ever made that was based on a video game first- foreshadowing such bombs as Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, two of the best known examples.

Well- except for PONG: The Movie.

The Data Analyzing Robotic Youth Lifeform? I liked that movie as a kid but pretty much only because it had a SR-71 Blackbird in it. Pretty much the coolest plane ever built.

Those things are so fucking huge in person. They have a de-commission Blackbird at the Pima Air and Space Museum and it's fucking amazing.

Yes, they did. (http://www.marveldirectory.com/misc/xmenjet.htm)

I saw it at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Mueseum and it is fucking huge. It's one of very few aircraft I admire for it's accomplishments, performance, and it's overall design. It truly is an artistic masterpiece. Even if the thing couldn't make it off the ground I would still admire it's craftmanship.
