I saw Louis CK perform at the Jukebox in Peoria, IL last night. It was a great show. Some new stuff, some older stuff I'd heard before. Excellent bit about hell that was at least new to me.
The Jukebox was a bit of a dive though. On the other hand, it was so small and podunk that I was sitting maybe five feet away from him. Not five feet from the stage, five feet from him. Good things happen when you reserve tickets to a show months in advance for no reason.

"Ha Ha! Very funny!"
EDIT: Was it just me, or was that picture not working anymore? :( My Indiana Jones joke.... ruined.

The past couple days I've seen this comedian on Comedy Central named Mitch. I also saw him in that countdown thing that PFT won. Can someone tell me his name. I really don't feel like looking for it. Also, he's hilarious. That might help.

Mitch Hedberg. He's on tour right now if you're interested.
"I got an ant farm... Them fella's didn't grow shit. I said 'Come on, how bout some celery? You fuckers don't farm! Plus, if I tore your legs off, you would look like snowmen.'"
I just got Hedberg's newest album. It's funny. Thus concludes my review.

Mitch Hedberg sucks. I hate his face and his hair, his stoned drawling delivery irritates me, and above all, he doesn't make me laugh. This is my opinion.
Wait, was that a review or an opinion?

Is there a difference? Does it matter? Jesus fucking Christ, Soma, get off my back.

It was my opinion of Mitch Hedberg's revue.

I think Mitch Hedberg is great. I saw him in Chicago back in November. Not a good show. Mitch doesn't react well to hecklers.
He did pretty well with hecklers here in Buffalo a couple weeks ago. He was absolutely trashed though.

Really? I'm glad to hear that. I was actually pretty concerned that he was so bad with them to the point that they'd eventually ruin his career.
And he's always trashed.

Treebeard, were you on of those hecklers?

No, I wasn't a heckler.
The problem was that he was touring with Steven Lynch, and the Lynch fans in the crowd simply didn't like Mitch. They were screaming "BRING BACK STEVEN!" and shit, and Mitch got really sad. At the end of the show, he asked everyone to beat up anyone who was heckling him.

Did you offer to buy him coffee or pie?
(I'm really trying to get to know you, Treebeard.)

no
He actually replaced Lynch here to open for Carlin. So it was probably a bit more layed back. Lynch fans tend to be nothing but drunk college kids.

Stephen Lynch is a hack and an asshole. But in the same way that shit floats and Dave Matthews sells billions of albums, he makes a lot of money.
