Norm Macdonald is awesome and so is this movie.
Who would like to debate either of those ideas?

Artie Lange was funny in it. All in all, it isn't as bad as everybody makes it out to be.

When I was in college I saw Norm Macdonald do stand-up. He was so unbelievably DRUNK that no one could understand a word he was saying. He eventually just left the stage. It was odd and disappointing.
* sorry, I forgot to put the word drunk in there. Man am I tired.

Unbelievably what? Drunk or coked up? It has to be one or the other.

Norm and Chevy Chase in one movie almost too good to be true.

lift weights?
Funny stuff. That's honestly my favorite line from the movie.
(I think he actually says "what?" after it, but you still nailed it in my opinion.)

The fact that Bob Saget (a.k.a Jehova) directed it makes it even more special.

..
I just watched this movie again, and I gotta say I love it. In many ways it's your typical SNL piece of shit film, but Norm's sense of humour manages to shine through even that.
I decided to see what the critical response was to it afterward. Seems Howard Stern loved it, but most critics hated it. My favourite quote from a critic regarding this movie:
"A movie that makes even Don Rickles unfunny."
