Mike White, the screenwriter behind two of Jack Black's most recent movies, "School of Rock" and "Orange County" is gearing up for a new shot at small screen comedy.
White, who has also acted in most of his movies, has previously done some writing for "Freaks and Geeks" and "Dawson's Creek". His new project is developing a sitcom that will star ex-Saturday Night Liver Molly Shannon. Titled "Cracking Up," the new show will debut in January on FOX.
"Cracking Up is about a psychology student who moves into this rich Beverly Hills family's guest house and it turns out they're all crazy," he said.
