Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I have been trying in vain to get Rhino to get off their lazy butts and make a box set of Get A life, heck I even offered to buy the rights myself. Has anyone on here ever considered doing some sort of email campaign to get Rhino to realize that a box set of GAL would be a good idea. Any thoughts or tips, advice about how to get a company to get off their lazy ass and produce would be helpful.

Hmm... I remember really liking that show. Then again I was in Junior High, and I also thought that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie was cool too (even loved the soundtrack). I'd have to see it again before voting.

Why did I post? *shrug*

I believe there were thirty two or three episodes in the two and a half seasons, anyone please correct me if I am wrong. The DVD's are pretty good, with four episodes each, including my favorite the Submarine Episode, but the extras are pretty thin, only a interview with David Mirkin on one set. I would like to see all of them released, and I believe that Rhino is just being cheap. I taped some off of USA, but it's not the same since USA cut out pieces to air more commercials. It's my favorite show of all time, so I might be a little biased. Chris Elliot is my hero, comedic-ly speaking.

If anyone is interested I put out a GET A Life episode guide, well, at least one episode at a time, in my zine Silly Little Trouser Monkees. I have done three episodes so far, just the ones on the DVD's that have come out, but plan on doing other episodes in the future since I taped episodes off USA from a few years back (although USA hacked the episodes a little and added a crappy new theme song). Check out my web site for more information www.user.net66.com/~bushwick8 Also if there is anyway we can get a community email drive going to email Rhino and let them know that there is an audience for a box set, let me know, I would like to stuff their email box full of requests for GAL.
