Comedy Central has given the green light to two half-hour series: "Stella," toplined and written by Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter and David Wain, and "Con," an unscripted show starring Skyler Stone.

"Stella," a scripted adaptation of Black, Showalter and Wain's popular stage show, has received a 10-episode order for a summer launch.

Black, Showalter and Wain also are executive producing the project, which chronicles the misadventures of a trio of modern-day Marx Brothers who face absurdist obstacles.

Stella tickles me happy, Con was unbelievably terrible... "Viewers are reminded that 'CON' is just the first three letters in the word 'CONSEQUENCE' blah blah blah blah..."

I felt Con'd :(

It was a (thankfully) short lived show about some dude running around, seemingly pulling pranks on people, in a "let's see what we can get for free" sort of way. At the END of the episode, there was this long disclaimer about how some people in the show were compensated for their time and that some situations had been re-enacted and that they wanted to remind the audience that "con" was also the first syllable in "consequence", which pretty much proved that the whole thing was fake/staged/scripted/whatever. It was pretty shameful.
