David Cross (Tinkle) LIVE at Pianos NYC 12/30

David Cross and Todd Barry are having a Tinkle Reunion Show at Pianos in NYC on 12/30/04. For those of you who don't know, Tinkle was a monthly comedy show hosted by David Cross and/or Todd Barry and was always hard to get tickets to but was always packed with awesome comedians. AND it's only 6 bucks!Unfortunately I will be unable to attend as I will be away on business. Shite.

Even if you can't get tickets, Pianos has a big upstairs area with a huge projection screen where you can watch the acts without a ticket. Theres even a seperate bar upstairs. I've seen DC here before and he always goes to the bar between sets and you can talk to him and buy him drinks. He always hangs out afterwards too. If you've never had a chance to talk to DC, this is a very good place to do so. Rest assured, I will be in attendance.

I'm in Jersey but don't live to far from the city. I've got friends who live up north in Roselle Park and Jersey City, so I get to go to NYC when someone or something interesting is going on.

I think I'm going to save in hopes that DC will tour in the summer.

Speaking of touring in the summer, Cpt is so pale, that in the summer time he burns faster than hi-octane fuel.

Umm small correction, Tinkle used to be a weekly show. And I'll definately be there and then will be going to the Mercury Lounge to see !!! play at 10:30. I can't wait as I missed the Tinkle for Kerry show but did go to the holiday one and even got a present from the guys when they were giving out stuff.

I flew over Jersey once when I had a layover at Newark, and I have to ask: What the fuck is all that brown water in huge puddles? Are those just, lakes? 'Cause they were everywhere, and terribly disgusting, and smelly.

hmm, I dunno, Jersey is very densely populated and has some quite shite areas, but can also be very nice. I live in an area in the middle. The turnpike does smell like shit though.

North Jersey is very industrialized. That's why everyone thinks NJ is a dirty smelly chemical dumping place. Everyone goes to Newark which is all factories, plants, dumps, etc. and thinks that is what all of NJ is like. It's not. I probably live near you Chaza, I'm in Monmouth County near the shore. It's pretty nice around here, just expensive as hell.

As far as the water goes, there are a lot of ponds and very small lakes. The water is brown because of the large amount of Cedar trees we have. The Cedar residue gives the water a tea-like color. I guess the color isn't very pretty to look at but I haven't come across many 'smelly' ponds except for the few swamps we have.
