Don't forget to watch Patton's one hour comedy special tonight at 10:00 (9:00 central) on Comedy Central. Then come back here and discuss it with me, okay? Great.

I bought the cd and the previews sound an awful lot like it. It should be hysterical. Right now I'm totally tortured watching VH1 waiting for glimpses of David. I'll catch Patton on the rerun at 11 p.m. and come back for the commentary. The things I'll do...

I watched that VH1 thing too, it was such crap. But I was glad I got to see Jay in a speaking role. It's been a while.
I enjoyed the special, but I was kind of disappointed there wasn't much new material. I think if you're not a fan of Patton you can get lost kind of easily, 'cause he goes off on these lil' tangents and says things to ammuse himself. Good hour of comedy nonetheless.

is this thing supposed to be like Best Week Ever's season finale?
vh1 loves doing this kinda shit where people talk about stuff that just happened.
EDIT: I meant to post this under the VH1 thread... fuck it

It was underwhelming. Mainly because once you've heard the real version of the material, the TV-14 rendition really can't hold a candle to it. Still, it had its moments.

I liked the part where they said that if you listened to metal in the 80s, you're probably gay and then they cut to the lead singer of Anthrax in the audience.
