did mine eyes deceive me or did i just see john ennis in a dunkin donuts holiday commercial, some holiday flavor promotion. ennis's hair was grey and he was walking around a mall with shopping bags?
i don't know it looked a lot like him. it was on fox so it's an american commercial anyone else seen it?

That was indeed John Ennis. I saw him in another commercial where he is just screaming. The commercial, for what I cannot remember, is shots of people screaming and he is one of them. I saw him in few others recently. You need money to live and it sucks that his money has to come from commercials. He is very talented and it's a shame he's peddling Dunkin Donuts. Although, I fellate transsexuals for extra money. Which is worse?

Ironically, both have the same amount of trans fat and calories, so either way is good. (or equally bad).

They probably get paid pretty well for a little amount of work... i think the worst part would be the audition, where you have to realize "i'm about to audition for a donut commercial"...that would be worse than your trans-blowjobs.

I recently saw him in a nationwide insurance commercial where some lady is naked sunbathing and she is startled, jumps up, John is watering his lawn next door and he sees her naked and sprays some dude driving by with his hose and causes a chain reaction of accidents...And he is in some movie called Man With a Van. I can't find much stuff about him on the internets though. He needs a website!

I feel bad for John and Jay's lack of success in the business, but I love the humor they express about the situation in the commentary.

I feel John should have his own show where he plays the role of Aunt Helen. Each week, he would get a new employer and he beats the shit out of their kid(s).

Ennis played the Aunt Helen character in Patton and Brian's Comedy Central pilot. The show is called something like Happy Game Fun Bomb and is sort of like The Man Show for videogame nerds. Jay Johnston was also on the show (as one of the people playing videogames), Dave Higgins (from Higgins Boys and Gruber/Malcolm in the Middle) as the Gadget Guy, and Eddie Pepitone as a creepy guy.
There's a whole thread about the taping over at aspecial thing, and the show got picked up by cc, so it'll air at some point. Who knows how long, though, because it sounds like the show needs a lot of work.

Even though I'm not a gamer, I'll probably watch the show just for the value of seeing Ennis and Johnston on the boob tube again.

recently i've seen ennis on some reruns of malcolm in the middle which is on like 3 times a day on fox, so it's not like he's hanging out at the local soup kitchen.
at least i haven't seen him there.
