The dynasty of failure is alive for another four years. Democrats have been beaten back into the shadows by a hailstorm of ignorance and jingoism.
All seems lost, but let's see if we can extract some tiny bit of optimism and levity from the rotten harvest we have reaped in the fields of democracy this week.
I'll start: We can finally admite that John Kerry, although not an insane fundamentalist with aspirations of dictatorship, wouldn't have made that good of a president.
Also, until John Ashcroft can figure out how to shut down that tricky First Amendment thingy once and for all, we get four more years of David Cross's delicious bitterness and vitriol.
Okay now you go.
